Sales Copywriting Services

Connect with your target audience and convert them into customers or clients through the power of persuasive copy

It’s hard to stand out in business isn’t it?

Your clients or customers are spoilt for choice, so how do you convince them to trust you with their problems or goals above everyone else?

One way to do this is through writing and implementing powerful and persuasive copy on your website and in your emails and ads.

These sales assets need to do a lot of leg-work to convince your target audience that you are the one to help them overcome their challenges or achieve their dreams.

Your copy needs to alleviate any concerns they might have about investing in you and compel them to take immediate action - whether that’s clicking through to learn more about your services or products, booking a call with you, or purchasing outright from your website.

You need to guide your prospect effectively through each stage of the buying process.

That’s where I come in.

My copywriting support for businesses will generate more leads and sales for you through the power of connection and persuasion.

Effective use of well-known truths about human psychology and decision-making is key to influencing purchasing behaviour through the written word.

That’s what effective copywriting is after all.

Your online copy needs to:

  • Clearly and quickly convey who you are, what you do and who for so your audience knows they're in the right place

  • Showcase the life-changing benefits of your services or products to help your audience see the transformation investing in them offers

  • Get your readers to know, like and trust you enough to make that leap by appealing to the emotions that drive purchasing decisions

  • Compel your audience to act now by overcoming any objections they might have and using persuasive Calls To Action (CTAs)

“Oh wow, I was super excited to read my transformed email sequence. It flowed beautifully. A true mistress of copywriting. Thank you. Already booked my next project with Sarah.”

  • Wanna know the secret to turning jaded subscribers into loyal buyers?

It’s emotive and compelling email copy that gets their attention, keeps it, and converts it into interest and action.

Is your email list bringing it enough sales for your business?

Done right, it should be, because email is the most effective marketing tool at your fingertips.

It’s the best way to build profitable relationships with both potential and existing clients or customers.

But you need to know how to use it properly so it brings in automatic sales every day.

That means writing and setting up powerful email campaigns and sequences that target the right subscribers in the right way at the right time - wherever they are in their purchasing journey with you.

    The email sales funnel:

    1. Build Awareness:

The first stage in the email sales funnel is all about establishing brand recognition and attracting new subscribers with effective list-building tactics. The goal is to generate awareness of your business and introduce your new audience to what you offer.

    2. Encourage Engagement:

Next, you need to nurture the relationship with your new subscriber and compel them to engage with your brand as they consider the benefits of your offers. This is :where you dazzle them with perfectly timed and relevant email campaigns and sequences.

    3. Drive Sales:

Then, it’s time to get the sale. Persuasive copy is key, along with clear Calls To Actions (CTAs) and sending the right offers to the right people at the right time. So you really need to know your subscribers well at this point and what will give them that final push to make a purchase.

    4. Foster Loyalty:

The relationship with your subscribers should not just continue but deepen once they’ve bought from you. It’s far easier (and less costly) to sell to repeat customers than try to gain new ones. You need to focus on keeping your audience engaged and encourage them to make repeat purchases and become advocates for your brand.

    Email Copywriting Packages

One-off email campaigns & automated sales email sequences - copy only.

    3-4 Email Sequence: £350

    5-6 Email Sequence: £600

    7-8 Email Sequence: £800

Email Campaign: From £295 depending on length and complexity

Examples of email sequences that generate sales:

    Welcome Sequence:

Nurture the relationship with your new subscriber and keep your brand top of their mind with an effective welcome email sequence.

A single welcome email won’t cut the mustard - your audience expects more. They want to be welcomed properly to your brand and reassured that they made the right decision signing up to your email list.

Let me plan and write the copy for your personalised welcome sequence to start increasing revenue for your business.

    Post-purchase/Onboarding Sequence:

That first sale from a customer or client should be just the beginning of that profitable relationship.

A good post-purchase email sequence should reassure them they made a good decision buying from you and help them get the most out of your service or digital product.

Your aim is to increase retention, encourage repeat sales through cross-selling and upselling, and gain loyal followers of your brand.

The post-purchase/onboarding sequence I write for you will get your customers or clients buying from you again and again, and telling their friends all about your business.

    Cart Abandonment Sequence:

Sometimes people need a little nudge to complete a purchase - a bit more convincing of the benefits or a tempting incentive.

They might want to see social proof in the form of reviews, or a guarantee that their decision isn’t irreversible.

Reassurance or a simple reminder that they’ve left something in their basket (and an easy way back to it) might be all it takes.

Your audience is unique though, so it’s vital to figure out exactly what they need to hit that Buy Now button.

An effective cart abandonment sequence will bring in quick extra sales for your business.

    Re-engagement Sequence:

Revive relationships with ‘cold’ subscribers who have stopped interacting and get them engaging with and buying from you again.

You can do this by offering some kind of incentive, or reminding them why they signed up to your list in the first place and what they get out of being a subscriber.

This is also an opportunity to clean your email list and ask subscribers who are no longer interested in your brand to remove themselves. This allows you to maintain a good quality email list.

All this can contribute to increased business revenue.

    Launch Sequence (for digital products):

Make your new digital product irresistible to those subscribers most likely to want and benefit from it.

Sell it over a series of persuasive emails that convince your audience of its benefits and potential to improve their lives.

Start by gaining their trust, convince them of the transformation they’ll achieve, and compel them to take immediate action.

Done right, this should significantly increase your business revenue.

    Nurture Sequence:

Sometimes called a VIP sequence, this is where you nurture the relationship with your most engaged and profitable customers or clients.

Offer them exclusive discounts or other incentives to reward them for their loyalty so they become advocates for your brand.

You’ll make far more money from loyal returning customers or clients than from new ones.

Your nurture sequence should make additional sales for your business on autopilot.

    Show-up/Follow-up Sequence (for events):

If you’re using a workshop or webinar as a lead magnet to get new email subscribers or as another part of your sales funnel, make sure registrants actually attend with an effective show-up email sequence.

Then, depending on whether they attended or not, follow up with a sequence tailored to their actions.

That way they can be guided seamlessly through the buying journey with you.

  • Find your target audience and turn ad views into traffic, clicks and purchases.

A well written ad can compel you to buy something you didn’t even know you wanted.

And most of that is down to impactful and persuasive copy that makes an offer irresistible to the reader.

Effective ad copy first captures your target audience’s attention, and then keeps it long enough to convince them you can solve their problems or meet their most pressing needs.

But you have only a few seconds to do this!

Your reader needs to get know, like and trust you quickly, understand what you can do for them and how, and find it easy to take the next step (usually clicking through to a landing page with more details of your offer).

You ad copy must be memorable, emotion-led, and overcome any objections your prospects might have to investing in you.

Key elements of great ad copy:

    1. Powerful headlines that stoke interest and clearly capture how your offer will meet your audience’s needs or solve their problems.

    2. Emotional triggers that spur your prospect into action by speaking to their pressing desires, needs, fears or concerns.

    3. Specific benefits clearly demonstrated along with their life-changing impact, rather than just a list of features.

    4. Use of appropriate scarcity and urgency that appeal to their fear of missing out and regretting not taking action to get what they want.

  • The copy used in your sales assets is one of the most important aspects of launching and selling a digital product like an online course, programme or membership.

The words you use need to persuade your target customers that your offer is unique and will help them solve their problems or achieve their desires, and help them overcome any objections they might have to purchasing.

The world of info products is a crowded space nowadays, but it’s a great way to scale your brand, reach more people, and ultimately make more money in your business and live the life you dreamed about when you first started.

The words you choose and how you use them to talk about your offer are key to persuading your target customers that it’s unique and is the best one to help them solve a problem or achieve a specific goal.

You need to help them overcome any objections they might have to purchasing, showcase your authority in your industry, and demonstrate how your offer has helped others in the same position.

Let me write captivating and compelling copy for your whole sales funnel, whatever type of digital product you’re selling, including:

    1. Lead magnets and landing pages - to get fresh leads into your email funnel

    2. Sales page - the main web page that does all the heavy lifting and where you’ll direct all your traffic to

    3. Email sequences - this can include a welcome sequence for new subscribers, a main launch sequence to promote your offer, a cart abandonment sequence to capture lost opportunities, and a post-purchase sequence for new customers

    4. Other web pages such as the checkout page, thank you page, a waitlist landing page, and a webinar registration page if you’re using a webinar as your lead magnet

    5. Scripts for sales videos and calls

    6. Ad copy for paid Google or social media ads

How It Works

  • Contact & Discovery

The first step is for you to get in touch via the contact page on this website, letting me know a bit about your business and what writing support you need.

After that I’ll send you a link to book your free 30-minute discovery call if I think I can help you.

During the call I’ll learn as much as I can about your business, your offers, and your short and long-term goals and needs - and how I can solve your problems with engaging and persuasive copy or content!

After the call I’ll send you a detailed proposal outlining exactly how I can help and how much it will cost.

You read the proposal and let me know what you want to go ahead with.

  • Onboarding

If it’s a yes, great! I’ll send you my contract with terms of service and a detailed scope of work. Once you’ve read through and signed the contract, you’ll receive an initial invoice.

For project work of less than £500 in value, the full fee is payable in advance. For project work of £500 or more in value, you’ll receive invoices in instalments - 50% is payable in advance and the remaining 50% is payable after I deliver the final version (one round of amendments is included as standard. Additional rounds of edits can be paid for).

Once any initial invoices are paid, I'll ask you to share any branding and style guidelines you have, as well as market research you’ve done and other relevant info about your business that will help me get to know your brand and your audience.

This includes asking you to complete a Writing Brief form which will ask you various questions about your business to help me write content you’ll love.

  • Writing & Editing

Once I’ve got everything back from you, I can get started! We can have an additional kick-off call here if needed.

I’ll get to work writing the first draft of the content, including researching your brand, your audience and your offers thoroughly, and referring to the completed Writing Brief form and any other information you’ve sent me.

I’ll work towards any deadlines we’ve agreed, and keep you updated throughout. Once I send you the first version, you have 7 days to return your feedback to me. Your feedback is a valuable part of the process and will inform the final version.

After receiving your feedback, I’ll write the final version incorporating your comments. I’ll send you the final version by our agreed deadline.

  • Offboarding

After I’ve sent you the final version of the content, you may have a final invoice to pay. I’ll also ask you to sign off the final version in writing and complete a testimonial for me describing your experience of working with me (which I very much appreciate!).

Then, copyright of the work transfers to you and you can use it however you wish. Hopefully you’ll also want to book in your next project with me!
